SAGAR CONTAINERS was established in 1978 by Mr.S.B.Godambe and is now a part of the Godambe Group of Industries consisting of 11 companies located in Poona, Aurangabad and Rajkot. The group has diversified products like forgings, gear manufacturing, CNC machining of auto parts etc.
Sagar Containers is the pioneer of CNC machining in the small-scale industry. The first CNC lathes from Japan were commissioned in 1981. With the success of this concept proving the quality, reliability and punctual deliveries Sagar Containers added many more CNC and conventional machines in the Group companies. Today we are one of the most reliable and dependable suppliers to TELCO. Considering our wide experience in CNC machining and the growing demand of our valuable customers we are continuously increasing our capacities by adding machines at regular intervals.
Inspection Equipment:
All standard measuring equipment like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, bore gauges, etc., duly calibrated at regular intervals.
We design and special gauges for each component for all the critical dimensions.
Design Facility:
We have our own CAD (Mechanical Desktop 4.0) facility for designing tooling and fixturing.
Transport:
For transfer of components within our organization we have our own trucks.
Manpower:
At present we have strength of about 70 people in Poona including supervisors, skilled operators, trained quality control personnel and other workers.
