He started Metal Power in 1987 as a Company to offer specialised services to Engineering industries. Very soon he diversified the activities, developing markets for special purpose machines and other high techinical products including sophisticated Analytical instruments.

Thanks to his inspired leadership, Metal Power is well established today for its meaningful service to Engineering industries in general and stell plants in particular.

He has wide range experience in Metallurgy, having worked in wire drawing, forging, heat treatment and in Process/Quality Control in a Steel Plant, involving product development, quality upgradation, customer service and failure analysis. After having worked for over 18 years he left service and joined Mr. P. D. Pant. As a leading consultant, he has given consultancy to various reputed companies. He has played a lead role in developing the MPower MetKit and the Metallurgical Image Analyzer.

Shankar spearheads the service set-up of Metal Power as an Electronics Engineer backed by 7 years of production experiencee at a leading electronics manufacturer. He has been trained abroad where our Principals found him to be so good that they are considering giving Metal Power rights for installation, commissioning and service not only in India but in near-by countries too. With a pleasant mien and an attitude of "service before self ", customers naturally repose their faith in us.
