A small pharmaceutical distribution firm was set up at Barahat Ishipur, Dist. Bhagalpur, bihar, way back in 1965 by late Shri. Chmanram Bisheshwarlal.
The Growth
In 1970, under the able supervision of Shri Atmaram Kejriwal, grandson of Late Shri Chimanram Bisheshwarlal, this distribution firm was rechristened as medicine centre and expanded its operations in Bhagalpur and Calcutta.
Subsequently, with the expertise gained over the trade during this period Shri Prushottam Kejriwal and Shri Devendra Kejriwal, sons of Shri. Atmaram Kejriwal established an under the style Merit Pharmaceuticals and products were manufactured under loan license.
In 1992, a new history was inscribed in this family business, by Shri Purshottam Kejriwal, and Shri Devendra Kejriwal to commence a manufacturing facility under the name of Merit Organics Limited
Today, with uncompormising quality parameters and unmatching service levels in the pharmaceutical industry the company, Merit Organics Limited established a name for itself to be reckoned with for its ethical, OTC and generic products.
