Initially the firm was floated for operating the authorized wholesalership for M/S Amco Batteries Ltd. Bangalore for marketing their Amco Batteries. This proved a step for building goodwill in the market. As per our object this was limited area for development. We therefore tried to enter into the two wheeler market. In 1984 we were awarded the main dealership of Rajdoot and Yamaha range of motorcycle for territory of Pune district by Escorts Ltd., Faridabad. Rajdoot has already created its name in the two wheeler market due to its performance, service back up, cost effectiveness and varied range to fulfill the growing needs of prospective buyers.

Initially marketing was the main activity, as the actual billing was made by Escorts Ltd., Faridabad directly. Rajdoot was the only product in two wheeler market introduced by Escorts, since 1960 the sale was quiet satisfactory in the market. We could make a niche in the Pune district with our institutional selling approach and dynamic movements by our sales force.

In the year 1987, there were rapid developments taken in the automobile market. Various companies introduced many new products which are technically well developed. It became a trend of manufacturers to introduce new products with the help of technical guidance from foreign companies. So Escorts Ltd., introduced new Yamaha RX 100 in colloboration with Yamaha Motor Company Ltd. Japan.

Yamah RX 100 received a warm welcome in the market due to its performance, capacity, cost, maintenance etc. The demand of the RX-100 reached higher, we acheived high targets in the year 1987. Our sales reached from 700 vehicles to 1700 vehicles in one year.
